Microfiction Day 253 – ‘No Photos Please’

They posed for the photos without looking like they were posing for the photos. It was an art form that few seemed to appreciate.

“Do you ever get tired of this?”

“Of being stared at? Of course I do. But it’s all we know right?”

“I suppose so.”

‘What are you thinking about? I can tell you’re planning something.”

“Well, what if we did something different?”

“What are you thinking?”

“Follow my lead.”

The theories as to why the animals in London Zoo huddled in groups and turned their backs on the gawping humans kept zoologists preoccupied for decades.
